Leadership · Teams · Operations · Workday
I'm Lawrence Berra. I help organizations unlock the full value of Workday — from strategy and day-to-day operations to the teams that run it — by focusing on what really drives impact: the people, strategy, and leadership behind the technology.

About
I've spent my career at the intersection of Workday, business strategy, and leadership. Along the way I've learned that the most powerful configuration in the world won't matter if people don't trust it, understand it, or feel ownership over it.
That belief shows up in two places. In operations: the runbooks, governance, and release discipline that keep Workday running well long after go-live. And in people: building teams, growing them, and supporting them when the work gets hard.
Today I work with leaders and teams to make Workday a true business platform — and I share what I learn with the Workday Community and on LinkedIn.

How I help
Roadmaps that tie your Workday investment to real business outcomes — not feature lists.
Support models, governance, and release management that keep the tenant healthy and the business confident.
Getting more from the tenant you already own, release by release, with metrics that prove it.
Bringing people along: communication, champions, and training that make go-lives stick.
Hiring, coaching, and growth paths that turn Workday practitioners into leaders.
Talks and workshops on leadership, operations, HR tech, and the Workday Community.
People & Teams
Platforms don't improve themselves. Teams do. Most of my work comes back to the same fundamentals: hiring well, coaching honestly, giving people room to own their craft, and staying steady when the pressure is on.
Hire for judgment and curiosity, not just certifications. Design roles where people can own something end to end.
Cutovers, escalations, and release weekends are where trust is made. Steady leadership beats heroics every time.
Growth plans, honest feedback, and stretch assignments — so the team you build today is ready for what's next.
Clarity, delegation, and feedback are learnable. I help new and seasoned managers lead with more confidence.
The best thing you can leave a team with is the confidence to run it without you.
